The Counting On stars exclusively spoke with Us Weekly about the exciting news. They told the outlet in a joint statement,

God’s faithfulness to us in our most difficult moments has sustained us and brought us such love and comfort. We cannot begin to tell you how much we are looking forward to holding this baby in our arms this fall. Every good and perfect gift is from above and we are looking forward to this new season of parenting together!

As we previously reported, the couple told TLC on February 11 that they had suffered a miscarriage in October 2018.

The mom-to-be, 19, told the network at the time,

A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby.

They had lost their baby four months after getting married. The pair tied the knot in June 2018.
