At the beginning of his career, John Ferracane worked at the WDLB-WOSQ-WOSQ as an Announcer. He joined the channel in 1998 March and after 3 years he joined the another radio station.


Joined the WGN Radio

on May 2001, John Ferracane joined the WGN Radio there he worked as an Intern until in August 2001. WGN Radia is one of his bridge of succeess, which made him more famous.


Joined the WSTM-TV

After WGN Radio, John Ferracane joined the WSTM-TV in May 2002. Where he served as a Line Producer. He worked there for more than a year and moved to another radio station.


Joined the WJPZ-FM

On January 2003, John Ferracane joined the WJPZ-FM as a General Manager. He worked for WJPZ above 3 years and left the radio in May 2006. After WJPZ he joined other different stations.


Joined the ABC News

on March 2013, Ferracane joined the ABC News as a host of Good Morning America as the Executive Producer and since then he is working with the ABC News channel.

John Ferracane attended the Marshfield High School for his high-school degree, after that, he joined the Columbia College Chicago, Summer Institute in 1999 and graduated with a degree in Journalism.


As an intern, John Ferracane joined the WDLB-WOSQ-WOSQ, radio as an Announcer-Promotions. After then, Ferracane worked in the WGN Radio as a News Intern. John Ferracane worked there for four months and left in 2001.

After WGN Radio, Ferracane started wrorking for the WSTM-TV as a Line Producer, leaving WSTM he moved to WJPZ-FM Radio as a General Manager and served for around three years. John also worked for the WDIV-TV as a Line Producer, after his great performance towards his duty, he was promoted to Consumer Producer and again to Executive Producer.

In the WDIV-TV he worked for more than six years. Currently, John Ferracane works in the ABC News' Good Morning America as the Executive Broadcast Producer. Ferracane joined the ABC News in March 2013.

John Ferracane married to the TV journalist, Linzie Janis. The couple is together since their marriage but they do not have any children.
