John Cena Gushes on Why He Changed His Mind About Having Kids: 'I would love to be a dad'

John Cena has a great plan for the future! The 41-year-old WWE champion opened up to TMZ on Sunday, June 3 about his recent interview, where he said he wants to have kids with his fiancee Nikki Bella.

He told TMZ,

I would love to be a dad. I realize very much that I have been steadfast in saying that I don’t want children. But I’m a little bit older now, a bit wiser. At age 18, we say things different at age 25, at 35.

He further added,

I would love it only because I dedicated my life to my work and now I’m realizing that there is life and life exists and it’s beautiful and I think part of that is being a parent, so we’ll see.

Two months ago, in an interview with Today, John explained about his desire to marry his the 34-year-old female wrestler and have kids with her.

Nikki later revealed that she was shocked and speechless after hearing John's heartfelt plea.

Nikki previously revealed that she felt lonely after the split with John and even said that over her relationship with her fiancee, the two shared a bed for 30 days out of six months.

As previously reported, the Total Bellas star and the Ferdinand star were spotted together on May 19, as the duo took a walk side-by-side after having coffee in San Diego, California.

The couple had ended their engagement less than three weeks away from their awaited wedding. John popped the question to his girlfriend on live TV during WrestleMania 33 in April 2017.
