John Berry was born in the year of 1959, on September 14, in the United States.His birth name was John Edward Berry. He was raised by his parents in the Atlanta, Georgia and became famous as country music artist.

Began learning guitar from 1972


 He began learning the guitar from the year of 1972. At that time, he was 12 years old. He was influenced by James Taylor, Harry Chapin, and John Denver.  Coming to the end of 1979 he began recording this own albums 

Rose to stardom during 1990s


Years of the 1990s were the historical period for his career. It was star-making time for him. His  20 singles were on the country charts, 6 of which went top 5, with Your Love Amazes Me, scoring a number 1 on the Billboard.

Released his debut album in 1993


He released his first solo album in 1993 under Liberty Records. He got a good response from this album. The same album  produced five chart singles on the Billboard country charts.  After then he went on the road with a major concert package.

Won a Grammy Award in 1995


 He won a Grammy Award in 1996 for his participation in Amazing Grace: A Country Salute to Gospel Vol.1. The same album was nominated in the year of 1995.Winning Grammy Award is regarded as a great success.

Signed to Lyrics Street Record in 1999


He signed with Lyric Street  Record in the year of 1999. He made the contract sign and released his album  Widest Dreams in the same year. The album includes his singles” Love Is For Giving”  and “Power Windows “.

He created his first Christian –music CD in the year of 2011. From the year of 2008, he was into the mainstream Country music. In following year, he published both the book and the CD of Christian-Music.

Launched successful project in 2015


He launched a crowd funded Kickstarter project in the year 2015.  This project was very successful.  He got overwhelmed response from his fan. He assembled an all- star studio team and cut both a Country album entitled What I Love the Most and This Christmas Night.
