Joel McHale is an American comedian, actor, and television host famous for hosting a TV show The Soup. Likewise, he is also known for portraying Jeff Winger on the NBC/Yahoo! Sitcom community. He has also starred in the short-lived CBS sitcom The Great Indoors, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), and Ted (2012).
Joel Mchale was born as Joel Edward Mchale, on November 20, 1971, in Rome, Italy, to father Jack McHale and mother Laurie. His mother is from Vancouver, Canada, and father comes from Chicago, Illinois. He was raised Catholic.
Joel was raised in Mercer Island, Washington, where he attended Mercer Island High School. Joel Mchale received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in History, in 1995. Eventually, in 2004, Joel Mchale began hosting the Soup on ‘e!’ television network. He was also a judge on Iron Chef America. Similarly, Joel Mchale appeared on the Adam Carolla Show as a weekly guest and as an occasional guest on the Opie and Anthony Show.
