Jody Hice was born on April 22, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States of America, to parents of American descent. He is also an American and is white in terms of ethnicity. His grandfather was also from Atlanta and he also spent all his childhood there.

Hice owns a Bachelor of Arts degree, which she received from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky. Likewise, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, she received a Master of Divinity degree. Similarly, from Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, he got her Doctor of Ministry degree. 

Career as a Politician

After completing his high school education from somewhere in Atlanta, he soon joined Asbury College and his BA. He began his political career from Bethlehem First Baptist Church, he was a minister there. He served as the pastor in the church till 2013. Then in 2014, he entered into American politics as the U.S. Senator and he won his first major election on 20th May 2014.
