Jim Butcher is a New York Times bestselling author renowned in the United States from his own fantasy book series The Dresden Files. Besides being an author, Jim’s an avid martial artist who knows Ryukyu Kempo, Tae Kwon Do, and Gojo Shorei Ryu.
Jim was born on October 26, 1971, in Independence, Missouri, the United States and was raised along with his two older sisters. Raised as the youngest of his parent’s three children, Jim suffered from strep throat as a child.
