The "Tik-Tok" star, Kesha, attempted thrice to give a hug to Jerry Seinfeld on the red carpet but he brutally denied the singer's proposal for hug.

The two stars both attended and performed at the Night of Laughter & Song event at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., a charity event held by the David Lynch Foundation on Monday night.

The awkard moment occured when an American singer asked for hug while comedian Seinfeld was interviewing with the host of  94.7 Fresh FM's The Tommy Show, Tommy McFly

Unfortunately and very awkwardly Seinfeld declined, three times! And to make it even more awkward, the 63-year-old comedian had no idea who Kesha is!

"I'm Kesha, I love you so much, Can I give you a hug?" Kesha said in a video captured by Tommy McFly.

Seinfeld responded by saying, "No thanks."

Kesha asked her again, "Please, A little one?" but Seinfeld took a step backward and responded, "Yeah, no thanks."

Later, after the singer departure, Tommy informed to Seinfeld the hugger's identity and he admitted, "I don't know who that was. Okay, well, I wish her the best."

Well, Kesha had to learn the hard way that Jerry Seinfeld is not a hugger.
