Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga’s split is taking another difficult turn. The Oscar-winning singer’s ex-fiancé has been granted primary custody of their 8-year-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr. , multiple sources have confirmed.
As per the report, the 36-year-old Spotlight singer and her 37-year-old retired professional wrestler have reached a temporary agreement in their breakup.
The contract gives the current commentator on the Raw brand custody over the former couple’s son for the majority of the time as Jennifer is currently residing in London while filming The Voice UK and frequently travels to L.A. for The Voice.

As previously reported, Jennifer and David were engaged in 2008 after several months of dating and welcomed their first child David Jr. in 2009. The couple was split in late November after nearly 10 years of togetherness.
A rep for the American Idol alum told on Thursday, November 16:
They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months. Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son.
In legal documents obtained, the Dreamgirls star alleged that David has exhibited “increasingly aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior” toward her. Additionally, She also claimed that her ex-fiancee had been violent with her in the presence of their son.
