Ace Make-Up Artist Jeffree Star Revealed That $2.5 Million Worth Of Makeup Products Were Stolen From His Company’s Warehouse
The celebrity shared details of the theft in a YouTube video posted Wednesday. The clip reveals that the makeup products worth around $2.5 million were stolen from his warehouse in Los Angeles. He claims professionals broke into the warehouse to rob the facility.
The celeb has also said that local law enforcement and the FBI are investigating the robbery but have yet to identify the perpetrators.
The 33-year-old makeup artist said that he and the police both believe the goods have been smuggled into the black market by the robbers.
The authorities are yet to comment on the crime which took place on the 16th of March. Star said that among the products stolen was an unreleased concealer product which had been under development for almost a year.
The product started appearing on various online sites after it was stolen.
Jeffree launched his own makeup brand in 2014 and has had a large fan base on the internet ever since the days of the now obsolete MySpace. He has more than 14 million subscribers on his YouTube channel who are avid buyers of his product.
