Jason Morgan Ritter is an American actor mostly known for his role as Kevin Girardi in the TV series Joan of Arcadia and Ethan Hass in The Class. He also voiced Dipper Pines in Gravity Falls. He also starred in Parenthood as Mark Cyr for which he received an Emmy award nomination.
Jason was born on February 17, 1980, in Los Angeles, California to actors Nancy Morgan and John Ritter. His grandparents are actors Tex Ritter and Dorothy Fay.
He attended middle and high school at the Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he studied in the Atlantic Theater Company. He also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, UK.
