In December 2017, Jana revealed that she suffered a miscarriage, noting that she had experienced more than one.

According to her podcast, she has had suffered a total of three miscarriages and two chemical losses.

She said, "It's been tough because we've, like, wanted to tell people, but at the same time, it's also that hard thing of being like ‘and we lost it."

In May she exclusively told Us Weekly,

My body just went through so many hormonal changes and I was like, ‘There are so many women that feel this way right now and they feel alone too. It’s frustrating, but what I’ve realized is, it’s truly a miracle to have a baby and it’s all in God’s timing and hands. If it’s meant to be, it will be.

The couple got married in May 2015 but they parted ways in August 2016, one month before multiple sources confirmed that the former NFL star had entered a facility to treat his sex addiction.

They later reunited and renewed their vows in Hawaii in December 2017.
