Jamie Otis Will is Trying Get Pregnant 2 Months After Suffering Miscarriage

Updated On 06 Mar, 2019 Published On

Still Trying! It's been less than two months since Jamie Otis suffered a miscarriage and The Bachelor alum is now trying to get pregnant again.

The television personality, 32, took to Instagram on Monday, March 4, to share that despite multiple miscarriages, she will be trying to have another baby.

Alongside a heartwarming photo of herself with her husband Doug Hehner, she wrote, "I think my body finally realizes it isn’t pregnant anymore."

She added,

It’s a weird thing to be ‘happy not being pregnant’ when it’s the one thing you want most in the world. …but we can start trying again for baby #2 so we are happy!!!

Jamie, who shares an 18-months-old daughter, Henley Grace Hehner with Doug then vented her frustrations about the waiting process and her struggle to try and get pregnant.

She wrote,

I think it’s kinda silly you have to be trying for a baby for a full year before any doc will see you to help you figure out what’s going on with your body. That just seems so wrong to me.

The reality star recently had a new fertility test at her home after which she now hopes that the couple's mission to conceive will be easier.

She concluded the post,

Doug and I are so *thankful* for this to give us answers about why we are having challenges conceiving. Hope it helps you too good luck!

Here's the post, check it out.

That just seems so wrong to me. ...I’ve just discovered @modernfertility which is the same exact test that the doc would give you at the office if you’re having trouble conceiving..???? i just grabbed this test for myself (it’s an at home test for a fraction of the cost). • I wanted to share this with those of you who want to understand their body more. When you order the test you also get a 1 on 1 chat with a fertility nurse, can join support groups and weekly webinars to help you on your journey. Just go to http://modernfertility.com/jamieo to save $20 on your test. • Doug and I are so *thankful* for this to give us answers about why we are having challenges conceiving. Hope it helps you too ???? good luck!?? • • #ttc #modernfertility #ttcjourney #infertility #journey #family #miscarriage #baby #thankful #grateful #answers #infertilitytest #pregnacy #pregnancylossawareness #awareness

The Wifey 101 author, who became married with Hehner in 2014, announced on December 25 that they were expecting their second child.

But unfortunately, in January, she was forced to confirm that the couple suffered a "failed miscarriage" at 10 weeks.

The last miscarriage came just four months after suffering a miscarriage due to a chemical pregnancy.

The pair had their first miscarriage in 2016. They'd lost their unborn son Johnathan Edward at the time.
