Jake Johnson is an American actor, comedian, and director born on 28 May 1978 in Evanston, Illinois, Chicago, the United States as a son of Eve Johnson and Ken Weinberger. His birth name is Mark Jake Johnson Weinberger.


Jake's early career in acting

In 2007, continuing his career in acting, he started to work with the TBS mini-show Derek and Simon: The Show which was produced by Bob Odenkirk. Before he got this role, he used to work as a writer and production assistant.


Johnson's career growth

In 2010, Johnson got a small role in the Russell Brand comedy titled "Get Him to the Greek". He played a role of Uma Thurman's character's brother in the romantic comedy Ceremony, and as a friend of Ashton Kutcher's character in No String Attached.


He is mostly known for playing Nick Miller in The Fox comedy series New Girl opposite of Zooey Deschanel. He has reached the age of 38 years and has attained a height of 5 feet 9 inch. He wrote a play while he was in Iowa which helped him to earn an admission to the Dramatic Writing Department of Tisch School of Arts which ultimately provided him the John Golden Playwriting Prize. Jake is married to his wife Erin Payne in 2006. It's not known whether they have a child or not. Jake holds an American nationality and he belongs to the white ethnicity.
