J.K. Rowling Sends Indian Fan Harry Potter Gifts, and the Reaction is Priceless

An Indian teenage girl names Kulsum received a package of autographed books and gifts from her favorite author J.K. Rowling.

It all started when Kulsum’s teacher Sabbah Haji Baji went on to Twitter last April telling Rowling to visit the student in the Himalayas.

Rowling, on the other hand, was very quick to respond as she replied:

Please can you send me Kulsum's full name by DM? I'd love to send her something.

Rowling asked the teacher to direct message the student’s full name so that she could send her some gifts. Even though she was not able to visit the student, she did a very generous work by sending her some love in form of gifts.

Months after the tweet was first made, on 23rd June, the teacher again went to Twitter to share that Kulsum and her friends received the gifts sent by Rowling.

She even uploaded pictures of the students opening the gifts and the happiness on their faces is crystal clear.

Rowling sent the 12-year-old some signed books, Harry Potter goodies, and swags. In the pictures shared by the teacher, too, the students of Haji Public School can be seen getting all excited and carefully unboxing the gifts.

Likewise, Rowling also replied to the teacher’s tweet sharing that she was delighted that the package reached the destination as she was getting worried.

This is not the first time; Rowling has gone all out to show her love to someone. Back in 2012, she was even booted out of Forbes’ Billionaires list because of the hefty donations she made to charity and the high British taxes.

However, she has bounced right back and is one of the most powerful women in the world inspiring people to work hard and believe in their dreams.
