An illegal U.S.immigrant was taken into the custody this week for allegedly impregnating a California teen girl of age 14, who he met online.

He is being held on a $5.2 million bond at Kings County Jail which is about 200 miles north of Los Angeles.

According to Mark Bevens with the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, in December, a hospital alerted authorities that a 15-year-old girl was to give birth. They had called police because of the victim’s minor status.

As per the report, the teen met Hector on Facebook. When she asked him for a ride from her school to home in March, he instead took to a secluded area and raped her.

Se hid her pregnancy for months. Hector, for his part, denied knowing the girl. According to the Fresno's KSEE-TV report, DNA tests are being held to establish paternity.

Officials said U.S. ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has sent a request to detain Hector.
