The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that Howard laughed after beginning his plea, drawing the judge's ire

According to a local paper, Howard pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor assault/offensive touching.

As we previously reported, the defendant was arrested in February and initially charged with felony adulteration of food, liquids or pharmaceuticals.

He was with a female delivery driver in a car on January 12 when the alleged incident happened. The female driver recorded a video of Howard dipping his testicles in the salsa that a customer had ordered. She posted the footage online.

In the video, the female driver said, "This is what you get when you give an 89-cents tip for an almost-30-minute drive."
