    Hard working Carolyn started small in the journalism field. She worked on CBS affiliates in both Orlando, FL and Lansing, MI. Her real career started off after she started delivering news at a small radio station in Lansing.

    Afterward, she worked in various television channels like WPGH-TV, and WLFL-TV. While with WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh PA, she anchored the 10 p.m. newscast and also the same in WLFL-TV, Raleigh, NC.

    After that, she came to WXYZ-TV, where Chris Hansen has previously worked. She was hired to anchor weekends as the station’s health reporter. By May 2002, Detroit began waking up with the 7 Action News This Morning team.

    She spent 13 years informing Detroiters about the latest developments in medical science and their consequences in the community. Later, she became the co-anchor of 7 Action News at 11 pm.

    Similarly, she has also been honored by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and the Associated Press. She was named  ‘Woman of the Year’ by the YWCA of Western Wayne County. Moreover, she was also the only anchor to be invited from Michigan to interview President Barack Obama in the White House about the Iran Nuclear Deal.
