New Orleans is all set to give a proper send-off for one of its most beloved sons, the late American pianist Fats Domino, who died at the age of 89 last week. A second-line parade in honor of the Domino will kick off on Wednesday, November 1 at 5 p.m. at Vaughan's Lounge in the Bywater, heading east on St. Claude Avenue into the Lower 9th Ward and be ending at Fats' home on Caffin Avenue.

Led by homegrown trumpeter James Andrews, the second-line for Domino is expected to draw a large crowd of friends, family members, and fans. That could mean possible rush hour delays for those traveling on St. Claude Avenue, one of the main street into and out of the Lower 9th Ward and St. Bernard Parish.

All the traffic will be diverted at Tupelo Street, and anybody needing to cross the Industrial Canal will have to do the same at North Claiborne Avenue or Florida Avenue.
