The 24-year-old American singer, who is hitched with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, was ready to attend the awards ceremony but said: "unrealistic schedule" that meant she had to change her decision at the last minute.

With apologizing fans, she wrote on Instagram:
“I am beyond bummed I couldn’t make it to the show as I had every intention of being there to accept and celebrate.”
