'Harry Potter' Star Matthew Lewis Marries Girlfriend Angela Jones: Wedding Details

Matthew Lewis and Angela Jones are officially husband and wife! The 28-year-old actor, who is best known for his appearance as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, has got married to his longtime girlfriend.

The British stage actor took to Twitter on Monday, May 28 to announce his wedding to American actress.

The post features an amazing wedding photo of the couple as Matthew rocks a black suit and Angela wears a white gown, holding a bunch of white flowers.

Matt writes in the caption,

Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming.

As previously reported, a representative for the actor confirmed to E! News that Matt and Angela got engaged in December 2016.

In a statement, the rep. said,

They're both over the moon. They got together in July and hit it off straight away,

TMZ was first to report the engagement news at the time, stating that Matt had popped the question in November.

The outlet also published a photo of the couple at the time, in which Angela appeared to flaunt her stunning diamond ring while standing with Matthew in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

This is Matt's first marriage while Angela is married for the second time. She just got divorced in July 2016.
