The next Bachelorette has officially been announced. Hannah Brown who competed for the heart of Colton Underwood on The Bachelor season 23, will be the star of The Bachelorette season 15.
The news was announced at the end of the finale of The Bachelor on Tuesday, March 12. Brown is a former pageant queen and she has also served as Miss Alabama 2018.
During the finale episode of the ABC hit series, Colton Underwood broke up with the show's contestants Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin, and asked Cassie Randolph to date him.
Cassie, 23, said yes, and now the pair is in a relationship.
Shortly after Colton got split with Tayshia and Hannah, the two ladies took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 12, to express their gratitude for experiences they got from the show and shared their feeling about the breakup.
Brown made waves on The Bachelor's latest season as her competition with fellow constant Caelynn Miller-Keyes began before the shooting started.
Brown and Caelynn to be close friends but their bond became weak during the Miss USA 2018 competition when they were roommates.
The former Miss North Carolina Caelynn, 23, exclusively told Us Weekly last month,
There was no big bombshell. It was just a lot of different incidents where we realized that we weren’t the most compatible of friends.
She added at the time,
We’re just different people and that’s totally fine, but there was no big incident. … We were in the same pageant and we were hanging out a ton and there’s little things. It’s competitive and we handle things differently and that’s OK.
The new Bachelorette added,
There were just little things that kind of added up. And we just have different values on things. I like to say that my friends fill my cup up and I fill their cup up in return and she didn’t fill my cup up, and so I didn’t want to be friends anymore. So that’s how I feel.
