A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the twosome packed on some PDA on Tuesday, August 21; they were spotted “making out” and leaving an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty together.
The insider added,
She’s liking his pics on Instagram and they aren’t trying to hide the fact that their on/off relationship is complicated. They were so serious before and now they don’t feel that same pressure to define it. They’re super into each other still but they’re being casual for now and avoiding labels. Their friendship is still strong and intact and they both care about that a lot.
Noting that both Halsey and G-Eazy attended Jennifer Lopez’s VMAs afterparty at Beauty and Essex in New York City, the source said, "Halsey was at G-Eazy’s table by the DJ booth and was dancing on him. She was kissing his neck and rubbing his body. They made out at one point. They left together at 4:30 a.m."
As we previously reported, following the wind of split rumors, the Bad at Love singer took to Instagram on July 3, to announce that she and her boyfriend had broken up after 9 months of dating.
Of the split, she shared a statement via an Instagram Story that read,
I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.
The break rumors had already surfaced in June when fans noticed the pair's lack of engagement on social media.
Eagle-eyed fans later noticed that Halsey had deleted all of her Instagram photos that features G-Eazy.
Additionally, the split rumors fueled up on July 4 after the songstress shared a photo of herself with the caption, “kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur ass goodbye.”
Prior to her relationship with G-Eazy, Halsey (real name - Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) had affairs with Andrew Taggart (2016), Jared Leto (2016), Josh Dun (2015), Ruby Rose (2015), and Matt Healy (2013).
