Guy Pearce, 50, is active in the entertainment business since 1985. He is a most renowned for his role as Edward vii in the movie The King's Speech (2010), and as Harry Houdini in Death Defying Acts (2008). His acting ability eventually gathered the major attention of international film industry after he attended the Cannes Film Festival in 1991 for the premiere of the Howson directed movie Hunting. He was also part of other two movies of director/producer/writer Frank Howson, Heaven Tonight and Flynn. 

His breakthrough role was in the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in 1994 where he portrayed the role of a drag queen, Felicia Jollygoodfellow. After that, he landed doing major movies like L.A. Confidential (1997), Brand New World (1998), Memento (2000), The Hard Word (2002) and The Proposition (2005).

After a number of movies, Poor Boy was his returning act in the theatre after seven years of gap in January 2009. The play was the production of Melbourne Theatre Company, a play with music which was co-written by Matt Cameron and Tim Finn.

Domino and Mary Queen of Scots are his upcoming movies for 2018 and are in the post-production process.
