'Green Day' Drummer Tre Cool's Wife Sara Rose Lipert Is Pregnant, Expecting First Child Together

It's time to congratulate Tre Cool and Sara Rose Lipert! The Green Day drummer's wife is pregnant and the couple is expecting their first child together.

The 45-year-old musician took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 1 to announce his spouse's pregnancy.

The post features a simple black and white video clip of the two soundtracked by the classic doo-wop track “Angel Baby”, in which they hold a series of signboards as they went on to reveal the exciting news, and the caption simply reads, "Hello friends and BIG family...." with a red heart emoji.

2019 will certainly be a busy year for Tre. In addition to welcoming the latest addition to the family, Green Day, will be celebrating the 25th anniversary for the punk rock band's 1994 breakthrough album, Dookie.

The upcoming baby will be the first child for Sara while Tre is to become a father for the third time. He already has a daughter Ramona Isabel Wright, 23, from his first wife Lisea Lyons (March 1995- 1996), and a son Frankito Wright, 17, from his second wife Claudia Wright (2000-2003).

Tre and Sara became married on October 11, 2014.
