Sexual harassment topic in the entertainment industry was the biggest topic for everyone at the Golden Globes, but Matt Lauer was a name that didn’t come up as the show was broadcast on NBC.
Matt’s former colleagues from the Today show held interviews with the stars on the red carpet who wore black to protest harassment. Some viewers found the contrast to be awkward.

I sure hope that 1 of these elitist celebrities at the #GoldenGlobes has the balls 2 ask @alroker @CarsonDaly or @nataliemorales about working with #mattlauer when it was well known what a scumbag he was at #NBC #TodayShow & if any of them turned a blind eye. #HollywoodHypocrisy

Meanwhile, host Seth Meyers mentioned many of the men in entertainment, during his opening monologue, who had seen their careers crumble following the allegations of abuse, but 26-year-old Matt’s name didn’t come up.
NOT a fan of awards shows as #Hollywood pats itself on the back. But, glad to see @sethmeyers stick it to #HarveyWeinstein and @KevinSpacey at @goldenglobes #GoldenGlobes2018 - Seth left out one epic scumbag- #MattLauer - I guess it’s just too close to @nbc @NBCNews
