Golden Globes Viewers Slam NBC, 'Today' Hosts For Not Mentioning Matt Lauer

Sexual harassment topic in the entertainment industry was the biggest topic for everyone at the Golden Globes, but Matt Lauer was a name that didn’t come up as the show was broadcast on NBC.

Matt’s former colleagues from the Today show held interviews with the stars on the red carpet who wore black to protest harassment. Some viewers found the contrast to be awkward.

Meanwhile, host Seth Meyers mentioned many of the men in entertainment, during his opening monologue, who had seen their careers crumble following the allegations of abuse, but 26-year-old Matt’s name didn’t come up.

Seth did call out disgraced filmmaker Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, who was fired from House of Cards after actors accused him of assault.
