Glee Actor Mark Salling Admits Possessing Indecent Child Sex Abuse Images

Former Glee actor Mark Salling has reached a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to possession of the child sex abuse images.

According to Associated Press, the plea agreement filed in federal court in LA says the Mark admitted that he possessed images of prepubescent children. The agreement says investigators found more than 50,000 indecent images of children on his laptop and hard drive.

In 2016, Mark was charged with two counts of receiving and possessing images of child sexual abuse and faced a possible 20 years behind bars.

However, documents obtained show that he has entered into a plea deal with California's district attorney.

The 35-year-old now agreed to face between four and seven years in prison and additionally he has been ordered to pay about $50,000 (£38,000) to each victim.

As part of the agreement, Mark will be subject to 20 years supervised release and he will have strict restrictions placed on his sexual abuse on under 18s.
