Geraint's career began on the now-defunct ITV News Channel in 2002, where he started working as a news correspondent for the news channel. Throughout his career as a TV journalist, Vincent has reported on major global events like the War in Iraq, Soham murders, Haiti earthquake and famine in Niger. Apart from that, he was also involved in reporting the 2006 FIFA World Cup (held in Germany), 2007 Rugby World Cup and the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
In early 2010 he was the news presenter for ITN's ITV Evening News and ITV News. The same year, he became part of the ITV News team covering the Haiti earthquake. Additionally, he covered the Campaign and Election 2010 in a light-hearted role as a Campaign Wives Correspondent. He went to Afghanistan that year to report on the fallout of the Afghan war. He has also reported on the 2010 Copiapo mining accident, which took place in Chile.
Vincent is now a correspondent for ITV. His previous role was that of the Middle East Correspondent. Before that, he was a special correspondent for ITV News at Ten.
In 2009, his old high school, Newcastle-under-Lyme, in Staffordshire, invited Vincent to award school prizes.
Geraint is private when it comes to his personal affairs. He hasn’t revealed any information regarding his girlfriend, wife or marriage. Vincent was linked with Sarah Jane Mee, a British newsreader/TV presenter, in 2010. But none of them has given any official statement about their alleged relationship. Though facts regarding his salary have not been disclosed yet, Geraint is thought to have a net worth of around 850,000 dollars.
