A woman from Atlanta, Georgia, namely Isabel Martinez, has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing her husband and four children to death and seriously injuring another daughter.
According to WSB-TV reports, the 35-year-old woman pleaded guilty but mentally ill on Tuesday, April 23, to five counts of murder and other charges.
She was sentenced to five life sentences in addition to the possibility of parole plus 21 years.

The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office declined the death penalty of the woman because of her mental state.
The attack, which occurred in July 2017, killed Martin Romero, 33, Axel Romero, 2, Dillan Romero, 4, Dacota Romero, 7, and Isabela Martinez, 10, and injured Diana Romero, 9.
According to friends, Isabel had been depressed killing her family members.
Friends told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she had outbursts of anger and sadness.
