Following George Clooney’s appeal to boycott the hotels owned by Sultan of Brunei, many major organizations have decided to support the actor, and the Beverly Hills Hotel just lost its two major clients.

The John Wayne Cancer and The Special Needs Network are both pulling out their events from the Beverly Hills Hotel, owing to the fact that the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah has passed the law to stone gay people to death.

The spring event of SNN, the eleventh Annual event "a pink pump affair // a Celebration of Women", was supposed to go down at the Beverly Hills hotel at the 19th May, but instead, they are moving the venue of the fundraising event to the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Many major politicians and A-class celebrity are believed to be attending this ceremony.

In the same way, the JWCI are moving their 34th Annual Odyssey Ball, scheduled for the 4th of May, to the Montage Beverly Hills.

The recent developments came to light after famous Hollywood actor George Clooney appealed to the masses to boycott all the major lodging facilities owned by the Sultan of Brunei.

The actor’s appeal was backed by major celebrities including openly gay musician Elton John.

Lance Bass informed TMZ that he strongly supports the boycott of these hotels.
