Gabby Douglas began her career at the age of six, Gabby won the Virginia State Championships while she was eight years in 2004. Her father was a big inspiration to her as well as Douglas's older sister Arielle; former gymnast and built her passionate towards gymnastic.
Gabby Douglas debuted in national at the US Classic in Houston in 2008 and became 10th in the all-around rankings. Despite all pain and injuries, she pushed herself and worked hard which led her to win the silver medal on the balance beam at Junior National Championships in 2010.
With the dream to become a champion, Gabby moved to Des Moines lowa at the age of 14 and started full time training with Liang Chow; Olympic gold medalist. During her career, she had to face several fractures, injury and also suffered a hamstring strain and hip flexor injury.

Regarding her boyfriend and affairs, she hasn't dated any one. In an interview with Romper, she said, "No I don't have a boyfriend, I don't have time. All of my attention and focus was spent in gym and training classes".
