In 1954, Frankie got married to Mary Mandel. She also had a daughter from her previous relationship. As a married couple, they have been parents twice. Though they were strongly bonded into this married life, this married life came to an end in 1971.
Later on, Frankie dated MaryAnn Hannigan as his girlfriend and they got married on 29th of June 1974. This married life lasted for nearly a decade and they got divorced on 25th of February 1982.
After that Frankie began his romantic love affairs with Randy Clohessy. They got married on 7th of July 1984. As a married couple, they have also been parents three times. It is said that they announced their separation in 2004.
When Frankie was seven years old, he induced his interest in singing. He became more interested in singing after seeing the young Frank Sinatra perform at the Paramount Theater. Initially, he didn't have enough money for this singing career and to support his musical career, he took the job of barber. He has been active in singing since 1951. He formed the band the Variety Trio in 1951 but this band disbanded in 1952. He and his fellow mate Tommy DeVito began performing at The Strand. He released his debut single, My Mother's Eyes in 1953. He formed the Variatones in 1954 with Tommy DeVito and it was later renamed to The Four Lovers and released the single, You're the Apple of My Eye. He is also active as an actor since 1985. He made his acting debut by starring the role of Frank Doss, an outfit Boss in the TV series, Miami Vice. In 1998, he appeared in the TV movie, Witness to the Mob. He has been earning lucrative amount of salary and his net worth is said to be around $60 million.
