At the age of 12, Frankie Muniz appeared in commercials and also debuted in the movie, To Dance With Olivia, starring with Lou Gossett Jr in 1997.

His outstanding performance led him to appear in CBS TV series, What the Deaf Man Heard, in the same year. His excellent small role in the film "Lost & Found" led him to the breakthrough in the successful hit TV sitcom, Malcolm in the Middle.
