Former Fox News CEO, Roger Ailes Dies At The Age of 77

    Former FOX News CEO, Roger Ailes has died at the age of 77.

    As per the reports from FOX, the journalist died Thursday morning.

    The death news was revealed by his wife, however, the reason behind his death has not been confirmed so far.

    She said in a statement.

    “I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, passed away this morning,”

    She further added,

    "He was also a patriot, profoundly grateful to live in a country that gave him so much opportunity to work hard, to rise—and to give back".

    A reporter from New York magazine, Gabriel Sherman who has extensively covered Ailes, confirmed that he died alone at his home in Garrison, New York. 

    Ailes was reportedly spending time apart from his wife in Palm Beach, Florida at the time.

    The founder and the former Chairman of FOX New's, Ailes was recently indulged in a controversy and was accused of sexually harassing his co-workers.
