    Forget Sherlock Holmes, Patrick Melrose is Benedict Cumberbatch's new Fan Favorite

    Benedict Cumberbatch turned a drug-addict socialite for his latest TV series Patrick Melrose, and now his fans have their new Cumberbatch favorite.

    His diligent performances in BBC drama series Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Strange in Marvel's flicks have undoubtedly entertainment the viewers, but Patrick Melrose has amassed all the attention.

    The first episode of the series aired on the night of May 12 and fans are going crazy over his performance, demanding all the awards there be given to the 41-year old actor already.

    The new Sky Atlantic series has the Academy Award nominee as Patrick Melrose, who attempts to overcome his addiction habit and his relationship with his distant mother and rapist father. The series also has Jennifer Jason Leigh in the leads.

    Based on the life story of author Edward St Aubyn, 58, and his book Never Mind, the show has all the love to Cumberbatch. And Twitter is flooded with the messages of appreciation:
