As per an insider from ESPN, UFC and Boxing will finally collide on 26th of August on Los Vegas, T-mobile Arena. The complications regarding this fight are slowly solved now but we still have some tiny hindrances which hopefully gets solved within the time frame.

As McGregor still has to get Arizona's boxing license and Mayweather has to renew his as he has officially been out of the ring for more than 23 months. The news caught fire after Mayweather on 12th March 2017, got out of retirement to fight current UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.

Here is the tweet from Joy Biggs a CCO at a promotion company called Borderland Alternative Media

According to ESPN, the match will possibly take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to a source from ESPN, Mayweather Promotion was looking for a promotion of the fight without the specification of date but ESPN dropped the offer as the fight was uncertain at that time.

After many sit downs, the fight is surely going to happen now as Dana and Mayweather both seem to be positive at this point. On the other hand, fans are still not sure how many events will follow the main event of the McGregor-Mayweather fight? As Mcgregor was looking to fight somewhere in September but things could not go his way.

And both sides are playing the whole fight deal with lesser noise and media involvement as his previous fight with Manny Pacquiao was a media mess and basically a real drama. On the other hand, Dana once pointed that McGregor after making around $70 million may retire from the fight business after this match as well.

McGregor warned us something big was coming. The parties involved are determined not to repeat their experience negotiating Mayweather-Pacquiao match. We don't know the fight card that might follow the event but recently a UFC legend, Don Frye has challenged Iron Mike Tyson for a match in the event.

This card may or may not have other MMA VS Boxing matches but all martial arts fans are desperately waiting for the most hyped match between McGregor and Mayweather.
