Police have been looking into the possibility if fentanyl, an opioid pain medication, has played a role in the death of the rapper Lil Peep at age 21.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops in Tucson are on the hunt after they received multiple tips that the late rapper got overdosed by taking drugs laced with the powerful narcotic.

You might recall that fentanyl also contributed to the accidental ODs of Prince and Eric Chase Bolling Jr. Police know fentanyl is a problem in Tucson and beyond and the thing what makes it most dangerous is that even a tiny dose can kill a person, especially one who is not a regular opioid user.
As previously reported, Lil Peep suddenly died on November 15 and her body was found on the bus with drug paraphernalia, Xanax, loose marijuana and an unknown tan powder.
