Farrah Franklin, the former member of Destiny’s Child, the girl group that launched Beyonce's career into the music stratosphere and subsequently to stardom thereafter, was arrested on Thursday.

About 2:55 a.m., an officer went to the 3500 block of Chamblee Tucker Road due to a tanked call, according to a police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The officer said Farrah Franklin was outside Planet Fitness contending with a man.

According to the report, Farrah had bloodshot eyes. Her speech was mumbling, and her breath reeked of alcohol.

“I asked Ms. Franklin how much alcohol she had consumed.Ms. Franklin said, ‘Not enough.’” an officer at the scene explained.

The officer also confirmed that the 35-year-old was taken to the DeKalb jail on public intoxication and marijuana possession charges after officer he noticed a green, leafy substance in Franklin’s purse during an inventory search.

Franklin and Michelle Williams took the place of original members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson in 1999.

After Franklin’s departure just five months later, Destiny’s Child became a three-member group.

She had also rebuffed the allegations that Beyonce made for her departure saying she covered up the real reason she had quit Destiny's Child through a video posted on Youtube
