A family-of-six, including four children, died in a horrifying fire breakout while neighbors watched helplessly from the street hearing the victims' screams.
A fire broke out on the 5th floor of the apartment building located in Harlem in New York and spread rapidly while the other tenants of the other apartment were still asleep in the early morning of Wednesday.
Firemen rushed to the building at about 1.40 am (local time) and spent almost two hours fighting the fire before finding the bodies.
The six victims of the apparent kitchen fire include a mother, four children aged between three to 11, and an adult man believed to be the mother's stepson, according to a report by the local media.
The children have been identified to be two boys and two girls.
A horrifying video posted online shows entire rooms ablaze on the upper floors as huge flames shoot out of windows and smoke billows into the air.

A video from the fire breakout was posted on social media which depicted rooms raging with fire while big flames came out of the apartment's windows.
The fire was reported by 25-year-old Abdul Salam.
He said he heard screams of children coming from inside of Frederick E Samuel Apartments.

The fire breakout looks an accident, but a proper investigation is being carried on, informed the New York Police Department.
