And it's a blue! Eva Longoria gave birth to her first child and she has welcomed a baby boy with husband Jose "Pepe" Baston in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 19, a representative for the actress have confirmed to media. The couple has named their adorable son Santiago Enrique.
In a statement to Hola!, the new parents said, "We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing”.
Additionally, they also have shared the first photo of the latest addition to the family. The newborn weighed six pounds and 13 ounces.
Eva's motherhood journey was full of joyous moments, including plenty of red carpets appearances, a celeb-studded baby shower and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As previously reported, in December 2017, Eva, 43, confirmed to PEOPLE by her rep that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with Jose, 50. Jose is the president of Televisa - the largest media company in Latin America.
At the time, they hadn't revealed the sex of their baby but multiple sources confirmed that she was four-month pregnant with a baby boy.
The duo began dating in 2013 and after enjoying a romantic relationship for two years, they became engaged in December 2015 in Dubai.
The amazing couple eventually got married in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Mexico on 21 May 2016. During the Cannes Film Festival in May, Eva and Jose celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Shortly after the couple's engagement announcement in 2015, while talking to PEOPLE, the former Telenovela star had spoken out about her possibility to have kids- shortly after she announced her engagement.
She said at the time,
I just turned 40, so I have thought, ‘Is time running out?’ I should be thinking about [children], but I feel like my life is full.
Though this is the first child for Eva, Jose also has three children from a previous marriage with Natalia Esperon.
