Spoilers alert! The 2020 action-adventure & mystery film Enola Holmes starred rising English actor Louis Partridge and actress Millie Bobby Brown, sharing an adorable development of affection for each other. Even though the film plot set out the duo on a different path with love-locked in the heart at the end, fans are already gazing eyes if Partridge's relationship worked with Brown off-screen.
The 17-year old actor is often seen together with the Stranger Things star lately. Furthermore, they share cozy posts on Instagram. On top of that, with the recent break-up of Millie this August with boyfriend Joseph Robinson, the dating rumors of Enola Holmes co-stars caught up media limelight.
In the celebrity world, it's barely a surprise that co-stars get along after working on the same set, so curiosity about Louis Partridge's relationship is on fire. Let's get the details.
Probably for fans, to see their favorite celebrities getting into a relationship is a wish come true, and many indeed wished the same for Partridge and Brown- the cute adorable teen couple.
As the teen stars were working together, they posted plenty of photos of one another on their respective Instagram, which triggered the thoughts that if their friendship evolved into dating. However, sticking with the fact, Louis and Millie are just friends, let's say, close friends.
In an interview with Girlfriend in September 2020, while talking about their movie Enola Holmes (also starring Henry Cavill), Brown clarified that she is not dating Partridge and stated their good friendship with her statement:
"Louis and I worked very hard at bonding and creating a very close bond so that the relationship looked as realistic as possible. And luckily, now he’s just one of my closest friends."
As for a fact, the on-screen couple during their final goodbye scene kept fans hopeful, but the kiss didn't come (even though it was on the script). Well, it's not that any of the actors personally denied, rather the film crew didn't film the scene- probably a call for a sequel to Enola Holmes.
Despite being an avid user of Instagram (@louispartridge_), the London-born actor barely grants access to his personal life, especially his relationship. But, at the moment, Louis is reportedly dating and yes, he has a girlfriend.
The news came up as Louis Partridge and Mille Bobby Brown were featured in Glamour's YouTube video "Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge Take a Friendship Test" of October 8, 2020, when Brown accidentally mentioned Louis' girlfriend.
The Stranger Things actress stated that she helped Partridge pick a gift for his girlfriend, as he forgot their anniversary.
However, no further detail on his girlfriend is out. But, since Brown mentioned an anniversary of Louis' relationship, he has been dating for over a year- seems the actor got some skills of secrecy.
Well, his formula of secrecy applied to details of his past relationship too.
While promoting the 2020 film Enola Holmes, the young stars appeared in Seventeen's 17 Questions video on September 21, 2020, about dealing with heartbreaks. When Mille asked Louis if he was heart-broken, the 6 feet tall actor simply answered 'yes' but didn't open up further.
Millie after her split with her then-boyfriend, rugby player Joseph Robinson (son of Jason Robinson), is allegedly single. They broke up in August 2018 after 8 months of dating, The Sun reported.
Prior, she was in a publicly disclosed 1-year relationship with American singer Jacob Sartorius, before disclosing the split via an Instagram story in July 2018.
The Wandsworth, London- born (June 3, 2000) actor Louis Partridge turned professional in acting in 2014 when he landed in the short-film Beneath Water and About a Dog. The same year, he was cast in a minor guest role in the TV series Boomers.
His further on-screen career was in Pan (2015, uncredited), Second Skin (2016, short-film), and Amazon Adventure (2017).
Notably, he portrayed G man in the 2017 live-action animated film Paddington 2, where Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, and Julie Walters worked. Aside from being critically acclaimed, the movie made an impressive box-office collection of $228 million (budget of $40 million).
In 2020, Partridge was cast in the supporting role of Viscount Tewkesbury in the film Enola Holmes. Along with Millie Bobby Brown (as Enola, a 14-year-old sister of Sherlock Holmes), the other main casts of the series are Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter.
The movie is based on the book The Enola Holmes Mysteries, the first of fiction book series of the same name. Originally planned for theater release, Netflix bought its distribution rights and was released on September 23, 2020.
With the successful release of Enola Holmes in 2020, Louis Partridge is already working on his upcoming 2021 film The Lost Girls. He will star as Peter Pan in the fantasy-drama starring Joely Richardson and Vanessa Redgrave.
As of late 2020, Lous has an estimated $400,000 net worth. No doubt that his acting prominence & upcoming big projects could earn him a tag of a millionaire.
