Emilio Estevez's Son Expecting a Child: Going to Be a Grandfather

Updated On 28 Apr, 2019 Published On

A reason for the celebration! Emilio Estevez, who became a dad in 1984, is now going to be a grandfather.

Yes, you read that right. His son, Taylor Levi Estévez, who is now 34 years old, expecting a child with his partner.

The Breakfast Club star, 56, confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly on Thursday, April 25. He told the publication at WE Day 2019, "My son is about to become a father himself. A lot is going to change."

He also has a daughter, Paloma Rae Estévez, 34, with his ex-girlfriend, Carey Salley.

The Mighty Ducks star opened up to the outlet about his favorite way to spend time with his kids.

The Screen Actors Guild Award nominee said,

When we can, we try to go snowboarding together. We’ll try to get up into the mountains and take trips together when we can.

The proud father recently worked with his son and daughter in his movie, The Public. He said earlier this month,

My daughter is an accomplished musician. She’s a percussionist, so she came in to lay down some tracks on the film. All of the heavy percussion in the film, that’s my daughter.

He continued,

My son doubles me, and he’s also the stunt coordinator on the film, so there’s a scene in the film where my character gets pummeled, and of course, I’m no dummy, I let him take that hit! He also served as co-producer on the film and was able to really be a voice of reason, because in taking on so many jobs — I was producing, I was acting, I was directing, I’d written the script — you start to get a little lost in your own forest.

Congratulations to the family!
