Double Logie Win Not Enough To Deter Aussie Actor Samuel Johnson, Says No Plans To Return To Acting

Winner of Double Logie Awards, Samuel Johnson reveals that he has no plans to return to acting, despite the victory on Sunday night.

The Australian actor was reportedly awarded Gold Logie for Best Personality on Australian Television as well the Logie for Best Actor for his portrayal of Australian music industry legend Molly Meldrum.

Johnson who roamed around Australia to raise money for the treatment of his dying sister from breast cancer, in his acceptance speech described himself as an "outlier of sorts" who was "desperate to find my place in this world" and joked that his family called their Preston home "the  Prestonian Institute for the Temporarily Defeated"

While accepting his award for Best Actor, Johnson said," My sister is succumbing finally to the perils of cancer after a three-decade-long tussle, Rather than rolling over, she's going out blazing with an attempted world record for the longest line of coins, 

"She's putting together a row of coins in the shape of a love heart."

Besides, Johnson and Connie has also started the charity Love Your Sister, which promotes awareness and raises funds for breast cancer research.
