Donald Trump speaks for Fox News' Tomi Lahren after she had drinks thrown at her in Minneapolis

President Donald Trump might have a soft-side for ladies. Trump spoke in favor of Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren, who had drinks thrown at her while she was about to leave after her brunch at a Minneapolis restaurant, over the weekend.

Trump showed his support for Lahren via his tweet on Wednesday, May 23, tweeting,

Everybody is with Tomi Lahren, a truly outstanding and respected young woman! @foxandfriends

after she appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the incident.

Lahren was mistreated by patrons on Sunday, May 20, at Union Bar and Grill's rooftop restaurant in downtown Minneapolis and was in a heated exchange before leaving, according to several sources.

There also were tweets about the incident, which has gained national attention.

Lahren regularly voices support for Trump and the incidents on Lauren has surfaced since FBI sought information on Trump's 2016 Presidental campaign.

Along with Trump, comedian Kathy Griffin have also spoken in support of Lahren.

I couldn’t disagree more with @TomiLahren, but I don’t think it’s cool to resort to physical actions to make your point,

Griffin tweeted.

Though the incident has amassed national attention, Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder said on Wednesday, May 23, that no such incident has been reported.
