The "American Pie" star Don McLean hit the news on January 16th, when police were called to his conjugal home in Camden, Maine taking after a warmed question with Patrisha

The 70-year-old artist was accused of offense aggressive behavior at home and his life partner was conceded a controlling request to keep her better half away. Days after the fact, this request was lifted so the pair could endeavor to work through its issues, yet on March 16, the creator and picture taker Patrisha held up papers to authoritatively end their marriage, referring to "adultery, cruel and abusive treatment, and irreconcilable differences" for their split.

Presently the separation has been finished, after Don "chose to ignore a premarital agreement" and consented to a staggering $10 million , as per his representative.

Taking after his underlying capture in January, Don took to Twitter trying to set the record straight with fans. He has, more often than not, dissented his integrity and wrote : "This last year and especially now have been hard emotional times for my wife my children and me (sic)... What is occurring is the very painful breakdown of an almost 30-year relationship. Our hearts are broken and we must carry on. There are no winners or losers but I am not a villain..."

Don, whose original working manuscript for the song was auctioned for a whopping $1.2m last year, wedded Patrisha in 1987 and have two kids together.
