Disney's 'Aladdin' Trailer Features Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott

Aladdin trailer has just been released and Disney has certainly given another look at its upcoming movie. The first full-length trailer for the live-action movie features Will SmithMena Massoud and Naomi Scott.

As for the cast members, Smith plays the Genie, Massoud plays Aladdin and Scott plays the character of Jasmine in the film. Additionally, Marwan Kenzari can be seen portraying the villainous Jafar in it.

The first footage of the Disney movie debuted in October 2018; it gave a glimpse at the Genie's lamp at the time.

And during the Grammy Awards in February, a new look was broadcast. that showed a mixed response to Smith's blue Genie.

Scott spoke out about her role as Jasmine in 2017. She told The Hollywood Reporter at the time,

You really get in this adaptation of the movie that her heart is for her people, and her main objective is what's best for her kingdom. And you really get a sense that she has those leadership qualities within her.

Guy Ritchie is behind the camera for this remake of the 90's animated musical film (of same title), which was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. The animated film had earned over $504 million globally.

Disney many more live-action remakes coming out in 2019, including Jon Favreau's The Lion King (July 19) and Tim Burton's Dumbo (March 28).

Mulan, The Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid, Snow White and Pinocchio are among other animated classics that are getting remakes in coming days.

Aladdin is set to hit theaters on May 24.
