Dillon Casey is an American-Canadian actor and producer best known for playing the role of Sean Pierce in the CW action-thriller TV series Nikita.

Early Life, Family & Education

Casey was born as Dillon Francis Casey on October 29, 1983, in Dallas, Texas and raised in Oakville, Ontario, the United States of America, to parents Richard Casey and Patrice Casey.

His father is a urologist while his mother is an image consultant. He is one of his parents' four children. He has two brothers, screenwriter Lyndon Casey and actor Conor Casey, and sister Taryn Leigh Casey.

Dillon first graduated from Oakville Trafalgar High School and then attended the McGill University from where he completed his graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005.

He has also received a Master of Economics degree from the University of Toronto. He is of American-Canadian nationality and white ethnicity.


Dillon Casey first played the role of Trevor Lemonde in a CBC show MVP which led him to appear on a giant billboard in Times Square.

He moved to Los Angeles, California for his career in January 2009. He then got guest roles on numerous shows such as Warehouse 13 and The Vampire Diaries. He had recurring roles on Being Erica, Valemont and Skins.

Dillon portrayed Brad in a notable episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day ("Dead of Night") in July 2011. In the same year, he was cast as Navy SEAL Sean Pierce in the action CW show Nikita.

He initially had short term recurring roles but was later upgraded to a series regular. He made his film debut with a lead role in the movie Creature in September 2011. The film was unsuccessful at the box office.

Later in 2012, he was cast in The Vow alongside Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, Scott Speedman and Jessica Lange. The film was successful at the box office.

His other television credits include Backpackers, Remedy and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
