Following the liplock from American Idol judge Katy Perry to a young contestant Benjamin Glaze, 19, who wanted to be kissed by only the love one, during the season premiere on March 11, people have accused the 33-year-old songstress of using her position on the singing platform to assault young men.

In another episode, Katy interrupted contestant Trevor Holmes midway while he was telling his story about how he works a construction job to support his mother who has lupus as she told him "you're so hot."

She jokingly added,

If you’re not going to Hollywood, maybe you could just come hang out with me in L.A.

A similar incident happened while in the audition of an 18-year-old singer Johnny Brenns. While Katy's fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan were focused on his strong voice, the Roar singer told the Idol hopeful,

You got a face like Chet Baker. Very good-looking.

Lionel afterward asked Katy, "Would you stop flirting now?" and many of others all around the web agreed.

Luke defended his co-judge telling The Morning Show saying that the pop star was just "working hard" to make "fun TV."

The country crooner said,

It’s unfortunate that stuff like that turns into a story that big. I watched an actual interview where Ben, the kid that was involved, said that he was cool with everything.

Let's wait for the moment when Katy Perry herself says something on this very matter!
