Dick Miller, the veteran actor best known for his appearance in The Howling, has died. He was 90.
His death was confirmed by his family to The Hollywood Reporter. As for the cause of death, a spokesman for the family said that he died due to natural causes on Wednesday, January 30, in Toluca Lake.
As per the report, the actor passed away surrounded by his wife Lainie Miller, daughter Barbara Miller and grand-daughter Autumn. His passing comes one month after his 90th birthday party.
The family statement read, "His sense of humor and the unique way he looked at the world won him many lifelong friends and worldwide fans".

His other famous film credits are Roger Corman's 1959 cult classic A Bucket of Blood in which he portrayed Walter Paisley. He also played Murray Futterman in Joe Dante's 1984 horror fantasy Gremlins.
Born on December 25, 1928, in The Bronx, Miller served a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, before he attended the City College of New York and Columbia University.
His early movie credits included The Terror, The Wild Angels, The Little Shop of Horrors, A Time for Killing and The Dirty Dozen.
Funeral and memorial services for the late veteran actor will be announced in the coming days. Rest in Peace Dick Miller!
