Denise DuBarry, 'Black Sheep Squadron' and 'Love Boat' Actress, Dies At Age 63

Denise DuBarry, an actress and producer best known for appearing on Black Sheep Squadron and Love Boat, died on Saturday, March 23. She was 63.

Her death was confirmed by her husband, William Hay. As for the cause of death, William told the Desert Sun that his wife died after battling a deadly fungus at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Denise was also the president of Palm Springs Women in Film and Television.

She appeared in Being There (1979), The Devil and Max Devlin (1981) and Monster in the Closet (1986).

She portrayed nurse Samantha Greene Moore on Black Sheep Squadron. As for the soap opera appearances, she showed up CHiPs, Days of Our Lives and The Love Boat.

Most recently, Denise produced two films, Walk to Vegas (2019) and Do It or Die (2017). The 2019 movie was screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

In addition to her husband Billy, Denise is survived by her children Kyle, WhitneyAdam and Samantha; her parents, Pete and Betty; sisters, DianaAudrey and Suzanne; and two grandchildren.
